My Doll Collection

 All my current and past (sold) dolls:

An unusual unbranded doll marked "made in Hong Kong". She seems to be a clone of the Furga Alta Moda dolls, except she's shorter. Only 14". These two photos is how she looked when I bought her off Ebay.

I removed her original hair because it started to break off badly when I tried to comb it. :( It looked ok, but was very brittle. I bought her a beautiful orange wig that's almost the same shade as her original hair. I made her a new dress that's a copy of her original one, and made her some matching shoes. 

 

She has a new Faceup, eyes, and eyelashes too. :)

 

 

MY HUJOO COLLECTION :

 Hujoo Basic Sleepy Eye Girl 24cm BJD

 I've had three of these dolls:

 

The first two photos are of the same doll. I bought her from JunkySpot back when I first got into BJDs. (About 2008) I discovered the Hujoo dolls and fell in love with their wacky looking faces.

 

 

These next two are also of the same doll, She is the second Sleepy Eye I bought. I also bought her from JunkySpot. I really love how her faceup turned out. I used a craft knife to open her eyes a bit more. :) I named her Anya.

I don't generally name my dolls. Just the BJDs.  And no, I don't make them into characters or make up backstories for them. Nothing wrong with doing that, I just don't have the time or mental energy for it!

 

 

I bought this doll from a seller on Ebay. She came with a faceup, and I didnt change it. I named her Doon. For some reason I didnt take many photos of her. :(

 

 

This is my current Sleepy Eye girl. When I sold my previous one I really regretted it. I'll probably keep this doll. :) 

This is how she looked when I bought her. I really hate that awful brown wig and stupid eyebrows! I have since given her a new faceup. The boots she came with fell apart as soon as I tried to take them off of her. :D 

 

This is how she looks now. Under her bangs, she now has normal looking eyebrows!

I also opened her eyes up a bit. Her dress, vest and undershirt are hand stitched (by me) from a Blythe pattern.

 

 

These are the Hujoo Basic Open Eye dolls. Those googly eyes are so weird and cute!

I've also had several of these that I've customized and sold.

 

This is my current Open Eye girl. I bought her used, and I'll probably keep her colorful faceup. This is the wig she came with and I hate it. I've ordered a new one that hasn't arrived yet...

 

I named her JPeg. :)

These are my Hujoo Wings 25cm (boy) dolls. 

They also came in open and sleepy eyed versions. I bought my first one from JunkySpot, and the others from sellers on Ebay.

 

His name is Ivan. 

 

My Open Eye boy. I named him BuhBuhBuh! :D These dolls can wear Bratz boy doll clothes, but the pants need to be shortened. 

 

 

This is a 24cm Hujoo Jake. I've had a couple of these too. I've never really been crazy about his face sculpt. The eyes are just not right to me. They tried for an anime look but failed. He has the same body as the Wings boys, but a smaller head.

I bought him a wig that hid most of his eyes cause I didn't like them!

 

 

This is a 24cm Hujoo Berry. I've also had multiples of these, but never kept them for long. They just aren't as interesting to me as the Basic and Wings dolls. They are cute though, and I made several cute outfits for them.

 

 

This is a 24cm Hujoo Yomi. My daughter named her Aster. For some dumb reason I never took that many photos of her, either. I'm getting dang OLD!

These are a couple Hujoo babies. They are cute, but dont really pose that well. I didnt keep them for long.

 

A 12 cm Hujoo Suve: 

And a 13cm Cojoo. I like him better than the other one cause he has a big head! :D I named him Pixel. He's wearing a vintage Remco outfit.

  

 

A 45cm Hujoo Matthew MSD. I REALLY did not like his face, (The eyes), so I did his faceup, took a few photos, and bought him a new head as soon as I could! :D 

 

A 25cm Hujoo Lily, my favorite BJD ever! I bought her used on ebay, and she had a thick, mostly yellow faceup that I had to sand off. I kept putting light colored wigs on her for years, and didn't really like how she looked.

 

Finally, when I redid her faceup, I got her a dark wig, and finally realized what bugged me about her eyes. I bought her some eyes a size smaller and now she looks more natural. She looks so much cuter! I named her Mig.

She poses well.

A 25 cm Ivy. I didnt have her for long either. She was cute, but not as cute as the Lily. I named her Mash, after my Animal Crossing character. The dress she's wearing is made out of a kids' sock. :D

 

 

 

 

A 44cm Hujoo Action Doll Sara

I got her as a gift from my daughter. She was ordered directly from the Hujoo site. I named her Ruki. One of the few dolls I'll never sell. :)

 

 

My daughter also has a Hujoo Action doll. This is a Dana. She's the same size as the Sara.

Anya and Doon in a wooden sleigh decoration my Grandpa made. I tied and taped ribbons to a few plastic gorillas to be the "reindeer". :D

This is a MSD 44cm Bobobie An. I named him Jascha. He was cute but his arms were disproportionately short for the body. This always bothered me. I bought him from Junkyspot.

 

This a 68cm SD Bobobie Chun. I named her Nona. Also bought from Junkyspot.

  

I made her an outfit inspired by the one Marian Gold of the band Alphaville wore in "The Jet Set" music video from the 80's. Yes, the jacket actually has shoulder pads. :D

 

This was a head I bought on Ebay. I cant remember what brand it is. I bought several trying to decide which one to replace the Hujoo Matthew head with!

 

I finally decided on this head for it. I named him Yuri.

An Iplehouse Lonnie recast. I bought her used from an Ebay seller. She's posing in that sleigh decoration my Grandpa made. No gorillas this time. She's wearing a goofy felt Christmas outfit I made for her.

A practice head I got on Ebay on a Clover Doll SD body. I used to make a lot of black and yellow outfits for my dolls until I discovered the black fabric I was using wasn't colorfast! I had to remove stains from a couple dolls. Now I rarely use black fabric for doll clothes.

 

 I eventually sold the practice head and bought a Tedros head from Iplehouse. I wanted to do a faceup with a manly beard, and I had seen them done well on the Tedros heads. (And it happened to be on sale at the time.) Another doll I took very few photos of, for some reason... :(

 I named him Orbry. (Not Aubrey). I think I did ok on his faceup. Ruki looks like a little kid compared to him.
